Case Plan Adoptions

Do you have a case plan?

Florida law allows a parent to place a child for adoption with a private adoption agency even if the child is under the jurisdiction of the juvenile dependency court and in foster care as long as no final judgment of termination of parental rights has been entered. This is called an Adoption Intervention.

Instead of working your case plan, you can choose to place your child for adoption through a private adoption agency as long as your rights have not been terminated. When choosing a private adoption for your child, you are still able to choose and meet the adoptive family. You can also choose to have an ongoing relationship with the adoptive family and receive pictures, letters, updates, and visits.

If you have questions about case plans or Intervention Adoptions, Family Creations is very experienced with both and is happy to answer your questions. Contact us at (941)747-9225
