What is it?
A home study is a part of the adoption process that helps establish that you and your home are ready for an adoptive placement. It includes getting to know you and your household, gathering required documentation and background screenings, and completing a visit in your home.
And no, nobody is coming over to judge the dishes in your sink or whether your house looks like a magazine! We're looking at the bigger picture: who you are, the home you'll provide, and your preparation for adoption.
Who can we help?
Family Creations provides adoption home studies for families throughout Florida. You do not have to be adopting through our agency to have your home study completed by us.
If you're working with another adoption agency, attorney, or consultant, that's completely fine. We can complete your home study and coordinate with the other professionals involved in your adoption as needed. We also do home study updates as needed.
